What is your favorite thing about being a quarterback?
Game Day. I love the excitement of the game and the competition, and the feeling you get after throwing a touchdown pass or scoring a touchdown. I also think its fun to play my position because of the pressure that goes along with having the ball in your hands every play.

Do you have any pre-game or post-game rituals, if so what are they?
Nothing I really swear by, but I usually make a new playlist on my iPod and listen to on the bus or during warm-ups. Just try to stay loose. After games I'm usually out with my family and friends eating and celebrating.

If I weren't a football player, I would of loved to be a ______ player because…?
I would have loved to be a golfer because it's such a fun and challenging game. I would have also liked to be a sand volleyball player, I have friends that play in Miami and that sport is on the rise.

What are you doing this year to prepare for Division I?
The same things we've always done. Lifting weights, running, and focusing on working to become a better football team. The thing that's different about this season is we know we only have ten games, so each game becomes that much more important. Even though we can't make the playoffs, it's nice to be the first D1 football team in school history and set the foundation for the future.

What is the worst injury you have ever seen or suffered while being an athlete?
In high school a buddy of mine suffered a clean break of his arm. Other than that probably some of my teammates tearing their ACL's, because those can be devastating and take a while to come back from. As for me I separated my shoulder last year in the playoffs, it feels fine now but it still doesn't look right.

How has the transition to a new coach been and what do you think of the new recruiting class?
The coaching change has gone smoothly. Many of our coaches have either played here or coached here for a while, which helps keep things familiar within the team. This year's recruiting class brings a lot of talent, and it will be exciting to see how fast they develop and contribute to the program.
