An Iowa man was arrested at the Hamline bookstore on March 3 on suspicion of shoplifting. According to the Safety and Security report, he was apprehended by St. Paul Police at Minnehaha Avenue and Asbury Street after fleeing the scene on foot.

Last spring, the Student Life Budget Committee (SLBC) voted 6-2 to cut all funding for the MCTC Men's and Women's Intercollegiate Basketball Teams.
